Club History

Our club was started in July 2001 when Alan Jones brought together 34 people who were Celtic supporters. The first meeting took place in Room at the Top, where we still meet, and although many of the original members have since dropped out we have a strong and loyal membership of 13 regulars. Our meetings are on the last Sunday of each month and we travel to Glasgow as many times as we can during the season to support the Hoops.

My interest in Celtic began 60 years ago when, at the age of just 7 I was taken to Celtic Park to watch my first game. Nothing unusual in that, except I was one of the very few girls in the ground and as football was very much a mans game it caused quite a stir at the time! In this day and age there are now thousands of women following the great team.

This website will enable us to communicate with fellow supporters around the world and share experiences.
